Placements24 is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a fully remote role within the Banking & Finance sector. You will analyze business needs, define system requirements, and drive process optimization across the organization while collaborating with IT and business teams from a remote setup.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Business Analyst, strong skills in elicitation, modeling, and documentation, and experience with Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst, preferably in Banking & Finance.
• Proven experience in elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of business process modeling and system analysis techniques.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with BA tools and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with requirement management tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Ability to work independently and in remote teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with financial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Facilitate workshops with business users and technical teams.
• Develop process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions meet objectives.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support implementation.
• Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
• Serve as liaison between business units and IT.
• Maintain project documentation and alignment with goals.
