Job summary

Definiti seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst to analyze, document, and improve enterprise processes in a remote-friendly environment. You will bridge business needs and technical delivery within an Agile Scrum setting, collaborating with product owners, engineers, and QA across departments.

The role emphasizes governance, ROI analysis, and identifying AI-enabled improvements while mentoring others and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, computer information systems, or related field required.
8+ years of business analysis or process improvement experience, preferably within a technology or professional services environment.
Required CBAP, CSPO, PSPO, or CSM certification.
Experience conducting gap analyses, cost-benefit analyses, and process maturation assessments.
Familiarity with SQL for data querying and analysis is a plus.
Exposure to Microsoft Azure, .NET applications, or enterprise software environments is beneficial.
Experience with AI-driven process automation or RPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead analysis, redesign, and optimization of enterprise-wide business processes.
Establish process standards, governance models, and documentation practices.
Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI assessments.
Evaluate technology, integration, automation, and AI solutions.
Support change management for new processes, systems, and tech.
Document standards, templates, methodologies, and best practices.
Translate requirements into user stories, process maps, and specs.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies; align with product teams and developers.
Model current/future state processes using BPMN, swim lanes.
Create user stories, use cases, and acceptance tests in Azure DevOps/Jira
Maintain product backlog and acceptance criteria with stakeholders
Lead discovery workshops and cross-functional alignment on initiatives
Provide mentoring to junior analysts on standards and practices
