Aspire General Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Field Auto Appraiser for the Los Angeles area. This role focuses on evaluating vehicle damage, negotiating repairs, and guiding customers through the claims process. Extensive field experience and independent work are essential.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in auto damage appraisal, experience with major estimating platforms, and the ability to manage complex claims while maintaining customer communication and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of auto damage appraisal and vehicle estimating experience within theProperty & Casualty insurance industry.
• Proficient with CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex or similar estimating platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and appraise vehicle damage in the field and via virtual methods.
• Negotiate repair costs and settlements with body shops, tow yards, storage facilities, and other parties.
• Evaluate and settle total loss claims, including Actual Cash Value (ACV) determinations.
• Review supplemental damage requests and perform re-inspections as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the claims process.
• Assist leadership with complex claims and mentor onboarding of new team members.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, Dept of Insurance regulations, and industry standards.
