Qualifications

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related field with 5 years of post‑bachelor actuarial experience in commercial insurance.
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area.
• 3+ years experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance.
• 3+ years commercial insurance experience.
• 3+ years experience managing teams in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience performing account‑level rating and pricing analyses for complex/high‑value commercial insurance opportunities.
• Experience serving as a client‑facing partner, presenting analyses, recommendations, and pricing strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of the Commercial Auto industry and the commercial insurance market.
• Ability to prioritize work, organize time and balance multiple projects.
• Support for employee resource groups, mentoring, volunteering, and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel for role and meetings.
• Fulfills business needs, which may include extra time and supporting other teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Actuarial Analysts and Consultants with coaching and direction on pricing projects.
• Oversee actuarial analyses and support business decision‑making and timely project completion.
• Review work of Consultants and Analysts and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Manage and train Actuarial Consultants and Analysts within the department.
• Balance business results with available human capital and staffing constraints.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders on analyses, recommendations, and pricing strategies.
