Job summary

CohnReznick in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Renewable Energy Client Accounting Advisory team. The role is remote with optional office presence and focuses on delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to renewable energy clients.

The successful candidate will lead month-end close, ensure GAAP compliance, and collaborate with clients and internal teams. A CPA is preferred but not required; strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; CPA preferred but not required.
• Lead month-end close with deadlines and accuracy checks.
• GAAP experience with consolidations, GL close, and reporting.
• Renewable energy project experience and related entities.
• Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; numbers-focused and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Support renewable energy accounting and timely client delivery.
• Independently perform accounting services and manage teams.
• Self-review all work before final submission.
• Develop proficiency with required technology and act as a resource.
• Maintain quality control and identify process improvements.
• Build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate updates to leadership and manage deadlines.
