Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate, Broker Dealer Operations to own recurring broker-dealer workflows, reconciliations, accounting, and regulatory reporting for U.S. equities. You will partner with Apex and internal teams to ensure accuracy and scalable processes.

You will lead cross-functional remediation, build durable controls, and drive tooling improvements with Product and Engineering, applying AI responsibly to boost efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services operations with U.S. equities lifecycle (order processing, settlement, positions, cash movements, corporate actions).
• Experience independently managing complex operational issues across multiple systems without relying on runbooks for every scenario.
• Proven ability to author or improve SOPs, runbooks, controls docs, or audit materials in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring broker-dealer operations workflows across reconciliations, corporate actions, securities transfers, and regulatory reporting support.
• Perform daily reconciliations of orders, trades, positions, balances, and cash between Coinbase and Apex; document root causes and drive closure.
• Coordinate remediation across teams to handle exceptions and incidents with regulatory and financial impact.
• Build and maintain audit-ready documentation and process maps; translate lessons into durable controls.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define requirements, test new functionality, and improve tooling and dashboards.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives to reduce manual work and strengthen operational resilience.
