Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Associate, Broker Dealer Operations to lead recurring workflows in broker-dealer operations and support the U.S. equities business.

You will manage reconciliations, settlements, and regulatory reporting, partnering with Apex and internal teams to implement durable controls. You will build SOPs, runbooks, and tooling with Product and Engineering, reduce manual work through automation, and drive improvements in efficiency and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services operations, broker-dealer operations, clearing and settlement, or a related operational control function.
• Experience with US equities trade lifecycle: order processing, settlement, positions, cash movements, corporate actions, transfers.
• Authoring or improving SOPs, runbooks, and audit-support materials in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring broker-dealer operations workflows across areas like reconciliations, corporate actions, securities transfers, account maintenance, and regulatory reporting.
• Perform daily reconciliations between Coinbase and Apex records, document root causes, and drive resolution.
• Manage exceptions and incidents by coordinating remediation across multiple teams and prioritizing by impact.
• Build and maintain audit-ready documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and process maps for durable controls.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define requirements, test functionality, and improve tooling and dashboards.
• Identify systemic failure modes and lead process-improvement initiatives to reduce manual work and improve resilience.
