Job summary

Veta Virtual Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable & Revenue Operations Specialist to own the revenue cycle end-to-end for roofing and construction projects.

You will manage invoicing, progress billings, disputes, and collections across active sites while ensuring accurate revenue reporting. You will optimize QuickBooks Online and field-service platforms, implement process improvements, and coordinate with PMs, sales, and insurers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in U.S.-based companies, focused on AR and Revenue Operations (construction/roofing/field services).
• Experience managing the full billing cycle in project-based environments (estimate-to-cash).
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online; familiarity with JobNimbus, AccuLynx, CompanyCam or similar is highly preferred.
• Comfort working with insurance billing, including understanding estimates, supplements, and payment structures (Xactimate a plus).
• Strong problem-solving to reconcile discrepancies and communicate with customers, insurers, or PMs.
• Experience with process improvements and automation in fast-growing trades businesses.
• Bonus: Slack, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Ramp, Brex, Bill.com, or ClickUp.
• Professional fluency in English with excellent communication skills; able to translate financial details for non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, independent or collaborative in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of AI and automation in construction finance is a plus.
• Candidates must be based in LATAM or Europe.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end revenue operations — invoicing, progress billings, reconciling discrepancies, tracking receivables and collections across active job sites.
• Review invoice accuracy against contracts, estimates, and approvals; resolve discrepancies with PMs, sales reps, or insurers.
• Respond to homeowner, commercial client, and insurer questions on billing and payments; manage collections.
• Support revenue reporting with accounting by tracking job costing and reviewing project summaries.
• Optimize systems (QuickBooks Online, JobNimbus, or similar) and lead process improvements and automation.
• Communicate clearly with clients, insurers, and subcontractors regarding billing and payment statuses.
