Job summary

Original Roofing Company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our remote finance team on a contract basis. You will manage and track incoming payments for roofing and restoration projects, generate invoices, monitor balances, and pursue overdue accounts with professionalism.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and insurance partners to resolve billing discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and prepare receivables reports.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to review account data, identify discrepancies, and interpret financial information.
• Candidates should possess Finance and Invoicing skills to manage billing processes, reconcile payments, and support accurate accounting records.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers, insurance representatives, and internal teams in a clear, respectful manner.
• Candidates should possess Debt Collection skills to follow up on overdue accounts and negotiate payment arrangements while maintaining positive relationships.
• Experience with accounting or ERP software, spreadsheets, and digital recordkeeping tools is beneficial.
• Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related finance role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are important.
• A background in construction, roofing, or insurance‑related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities
