Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Temporary Senior Accounts Payable Specialist based in the United States for a three-month assignment with potential extension. You will own daily AP operations, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payment preparation, while contributing to month-end close and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive accounts payable experience.
• Strong understanding of GL coding, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with pivots, lookups, and large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounts payable operations, including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payment preparation.
• Review aging, investigate discrepancies, and support month-end close.
• Prepare domestic and international wire/ACH payments per approvals and controls.
• Identify and escalate unusual or high-risk payment requests.
• Collaborate with vendors and finance partners, documenting issues and resolutions.
