Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a remote Senior Angular Accessibility Developer to join an international NY-based project. You will implement accessibility for large consumer-facing web apps, align with WCAG/ARIA, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Fluent English required, 4–5 hours daily during NY hours.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality accessibility, mentoring teams, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines within a remote, long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with Angular (not AngularJS) web-apps, currently Angular 12
• 3+ years of accessibility standards across web, mobile, desktop (WCAG/ARIA)
• 2+ years assistive technologies and screen readers (JAWS preferred)
• Exposure to Git, GitLab workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to Microservices, Docker, and AWS
• Strong English communication and collaboration in Agile teams

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality accessibility deliverables meeting client expectations
• Communicate accessibility requirements clearly to project team and stakeholders
• Serve as a reliable source for accessibility guidance
• Help improve the team's digital accessibility knowledge
• Support high-quality accessibility deliverables for clients
