Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Angular Developer to lead front-end GUI work using Angular, JavaScript, and HTML in a fast-growing IT-project based consulting firm. The role focuses on SDLC, Agile practices, and collaboration within development teams to build modern applications for the Veterans Administration.

You will work in a team-driven, quasi-remote environment applying best practices for secure, enterprise-grade solutions and federal compliance while growing your skill set in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Advanced ability in front-end GUI development using Angular, JavaScript, HTML and related tools.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and experience with Jira.
• Experience applying human factors in GUI design.
• Familiarity with Web-services or Microservices integration into front-end development.
• Knowledge of OAuth security protocols for secure solutions.
• Ability to collaborate using GitHub branches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end GUIs using Angular, JavaScript, HTML and other front-end tools.
• Apply SDLC, Agile practices, and Jira for efficient project execution.
• Implement human factors principles to enhance user experience and usability.
• Collaborate on integrating Web-services or Microservices into the front-end architecture.
• Implement OAuth and other security protocols to protect data.
• Work with other developers using GitHub branches for collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with standards to obtain Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determinations.
