Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a remote Senior QA Automation Specialist with hands-on Selenium, .NET, and Angular experience for an international NYC-based team. You will work in agile teams to ensure quality across multilingual web apps and build robust automation. Strong API testing and load testing are required.

You will automate with Postman, JMeter and BlazeMeter, maintain regression frameworks, and collaborate closely with developers to preempt risks. Proficiency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in QA for complex web applications.
• Experience designing, developing, managing, and executing test cases.
• Selenium automation experience and API testing.
• Experience with JMeter and BlazeMeter.
• Security, integration, end-to-end and load testing experience.
• Mobile testing, browser compatibility and accessibility testing.
• Identifying, analyzing, documenting and reporting test results.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• English language proficiency (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Work within an agile team to ensure the quality of complex .NET based multilingual applications.
• Develop, modify, and execute functional test scripts and analyze bugs.
• Collaborate with developers to assess risks and resolve issues proactively.
• Create test automation frameworks from the ground up using Selenium WebDriver.
• Automate API testing using Postman and similar tools.
• Perform load testing and suggest performance improvements.
• Perform mobile app testing across devices and environments.
• Record defects and update regression test frameworks and KB in SharePoint.
• Maintain knowledgebase documentation in SharePoint.
