Job summary

Airalo is hiring a Senior Analytics Engineer to shape financial data models and governance, transforming data into trusted datasets powering product, marketing, finance, and commercial teams across 30+ million users.

You will own order-to-revenue pipelines, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with finance and ERP partners to align legacy and new systems, while maturing the analytics platform and semantic layer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• Hands-on experience building finance and/or revenue data models, including order-to-revenue pipelines and revenue recognition logic.
• 5+ years in analytics engineering or related roles with modeling responsibilities.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills with scalable dimensional models.
• Significant experience with dbt (Core or Cloud) for transformation logic, testing and documentation.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (BigQuery) and data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster).
• Experience with BI platforms and semantic layers; LightDash knowledge a plus.
• Proven ability to partner with analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into data products.
• Strong communication skills and proactive ownership from concept to production.
• Nice-to-have: experience in marketplace, telecom, travel/mobility; scale-up exposure; KPI governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data models using dbt in a cloud data warehouse.
• Build finance and revenue data models, including order-to-revenue workflows and reconciliation.
• Own the order-to-revenue pipeline with refunds, currency conversion, and edge cases.
• Collaborate to scale ELT workflows ensuring data freshness and reliability.
• Partner with Finance and ERP teams to validate data models across systems.
• Implement testing, documentation, and monitoring for data quality and governance.
• Translate complex business questions into scalable data artifacts.
• Drive adoption of self-service analytics with stakeholders.
• Contribute to evolving the modern data stack and evaluate new tools.
