Job summary

Airalo is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to design and maintain financial data models, including order-to-revenue pipelines, in a modern data stack. You will own end-to-end ELT workflows, collaborate with Finance and ERP teams, and ensure data quality through testing and governance.

You will work remotely from Spain or the UK, partnering with analysts and domain leaders to deliver scalable, production-ready data artifacts for business users and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or analytics with modeling responsibilities.
• Strong SQL and data modeling with scalable dimensional models.
• Hands-on experience with dbt (Core or Cloud).
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (BigQuery) and data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster).
• Experience with modern BI platforms and semantic layers; LightDash is a strong plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data models using dbt within our cloud data warehouse.
• Build and maintain finance/revenue data models, including order-to-revenue and revenue recognition.
• Own the order-to-revenue pipeline with refunds, currency conversion, and edge cases.
• Collaborate with analytics and data engineers to scale ELT workflows for reliable reporting.
• Partner with Finance and ERP teams to validate data models across legacy and new platforms.
• Implement testing, documentation, and monitoring for data quality and governance.
• Translate business questions into scalable data artifacts; enable self-service analytics.
