Job summary

Boulder Care is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own data infrastructure and business insights, focusing on growth, marketing, and patient acquisition analytics. You will build scalable data assets in partnership with our Principal Data Engineer, enabling analysts to derive data-driven decisions with trusted data.

You will translate complex business questions into analytical workflows, design semantic layers in Looker, and mentor team members to raise the analytics bar while ensuring data

Qualifications

• 6+ years in analytics engineering or related roles.
• Experience in fast-paced startups and autonomous work.
• Strong SQL & dbt for scalable data models.
• Experience with BigQuery and cloud data warehouses.
• Proven Looker/LookML development experience.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and translation.
• Knowledge of data governance and HIPAA considerations.
• Collaborates with data engineers and growth teams.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end data pipelines and data models.
• Collaborate with Principal Data Engineer on ETL/ELT workflows.
• Design semantic layers and Looker reporting for self-service analytics.
• Mentor analysts in SQL, dbt, and analytics workflows.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement and startup agility.
