Job summary

Clarus seeks an experienced Analytics Engineer to own analytics pipelines and bridge Data Engineering and Analytics. You will build scalable analytics architecture using dbt, SQL, Python, and Databricks, delivering reliable data products and metrics.

You will lead data products from problem framing to implementation, mentor teammates, and establish governance, testing, and deployment practices across environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, data engineering, analytics, information systems, mathematics, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of relevant data and analytics experience, including ownership of production analytics data models and standards.
• Advanced SQL skills with complex transformations.
• Deep dbt experience including scalable model architecture, testing, incremental models, and production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics engineering work including roadmap, standards, and operating practices.
• Design analytics architecture across bronze, silver, and gold data layers.
• Build and maintain dbt models to transform data into analytics-ready datasets.
• Write and optimize SQL; use Python for data transformation and automation.
• Develop dimensional data models supporting dashboards and self-service analytics.
• Establish KPI definitions, data contracts, and data governance practices.
• Implement automated tests, lineage, and monitoring for data quality.
