Job summary

Clarus is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to join the Analytics team. This individual will own analytics engineering, serving as the technical bridge between Data Engineering and Analytics delivery.

They will build, expand, and optimize Clarus’s analytics architecture and pipelines, transforming data into reliable, analytics-ready models using dbt, SQL, Python, and Databricks. The ideal candidate is hands-on, with strong data-wrangling skills, capable of leading multiple projects, and

Qualifications

8+ years of data and analytics experience with ownership of production analytics data models and standards.
Advanced SQL skills with complex transformations.
Strong dbt experience including scalable model architecture, testing, and deployment workflows.
Hands-on Databricks experience with Delta Lake and governance tooling.

Responsibilities

Own analytics engineering work, including roadmap, standards, and practices.
Design and evolve analytics architecture across bronze to gold data layers.
Build and optimize dbt models transforming source data into analytics-ready datasets.
Develop dimensional data models to support dashboards and data products.
Implement data quality tests, lineage, and monitoring; enforce governance and access controls.
