Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics engineering or related role, shipping production data solutions.
• Advanced SQL skills with strong data-modeling judgment.
• Hands-on experience with dbt, modular transformations, testing, and documentation.
• Experience developing LookML views, Explores, dimensions, and measures.
• Experience with BigQuery or comparable cloud data warehouse and cost/performance tradeoffs.
• Strong software engineering practices: version control, automated testing, and controlled deployments.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into reusable technical solutions.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and validating results against data.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable analytical models with dbt models and BigQuery datasets.
• Develop shared semantics and self-service analytics with LookML views and dashboards.
• Deliver modernization work: Looker Core migration and data architecture refresh.
• Turn business questions into technical solutions with cross-functional partners.
• Ensure data correctness: automated tests, data quality, and safeguards.
• Improve performance: SQL optimization, materializations, and partitioning.
