Job summary

Alignment Health is seeking a Senior Analyst for Oracle General Ledger & Financial Close Systems. This remote role supports the Medicare Advantage core, partnering with Corporate Accounting to ensure accurate period-end closings and reliable reporting.

The candidate will own GL configuration, automate close cycles, and maintain data integrity across sub-ledger interfaces while adhering to US GAAP and CMS standards. Strong technical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field.
• Hands-on proficiency with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials GL module.
• Experience with SOX/CMS regulatory requirements in healthcare/finance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End close cycles as GL expert.
• Maintain GL configurations including COA mappings and calendars.
• Develop automation using Python/PowerShell and IaC for close processes.
• Manage sub-ledger interfaces and data integrity across GL.
• Build reports with FRS, Smart View, and OTBI for leadership.
• Ensure SoD controls and audit readiness per SOX.
• Escalate GL incidents as Tier 3/4 with root-cause analysis.
