Job summary

Alignment Health in the United States seeks a Senior Analyst, Oracle GL & Financial Close Systems (remote) to own the stability and optimization of Oracle Cloud Financials. You will partner with Corporate Accounting to ensure timely, accurate period-end closes and compliant reporting for US GAAP, SOX, and CMS.

You will configure COA mappings, calendars, and ledger sets; automate close cycles with Python/PowerShell; manage GL interfaces from sub-ledgers; develop reports in FRS, Smart View, and

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Oracle Financials with GL/Close focus in production environments.
• Deep knowledge of COA mapping, ledger setups, and close processes.
• Experience with SOX, CMS reporting, and healthcare regulatory context.
• Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL and automation for near-zero manual close.
• Hands-on with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials GL and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close cycles.
• Configure GL: COA mapping, calendars, ledger sets, and data access rules.
• Automate close processes using Python/PowerShell and IaC practices.
• Manage sub-ledger interfaces and ensure accurate GL postings.
• Develop and optimize financial reports with FRS, OTBI, Smart View.
• Enforce SOX controls and support audit readiness with documentation.
• Serve as Tier 3/4 escalation for GL incidents and root-cause analysis.
