Job summary
Alignment Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Oracle GL & Financial Close Systems, to act as the technical SME for Oracle Cloud Financials GL and Close. You will partner with Corporate Accounting to ensure timely, accurate period-end close and compliant financial reporting in a Medicare Advantage environment.
The role requires deep technical experience with GL configurations, multi-currency close, automation, and SOX/audit readiness, with a commitment to accuracy and process improvement in a
Qualifications
- 7+ years IT experience in Oracle Financials with GL/Close focus.
- Experience with US GAAP and SOX controls.
- Participation in at least two full Oracle Financials implementations or major upgrades.
- Experience with data privacy and financial compliance in healthcare/insurance.
Responsibilities
- Provide Expert Technical Support for Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End close cycles.
- Own and maintain GL configurations including COA mapping and calendars.
- Automate and optimize the close process using scripting and IaC principles.
- Manage sub-ledger interfaces and data integrity for AP/AR/GL systems.
- Develop financial reports using FRS, OTBI, and Smart View.
- Ensure SOX/compliance and audit readiness through documentation and controls.
