Job summary

Cyera is seeking a Principal AI Technologist to lead AI security efforts across strategic customers and field teams. This senior, field-facing role combines deep AI and security expertise with customer engagement, technical storytelling, and cross-functional influence.

You will work at the intersection of customers, Sales, Field CTO, Product, Engineering, and PMM to shape how Cyera demonstrates and scales its AI security leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior technical roles such as Principal Technologist or similar.
• Strong customer-facing experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, data security, or AI security.
• Deep understanding of modern AI and GenAI environments and governance.
• Experience influencing cross-functional teams (Product, PMM, Eng) with field insights.
• Ability to translate complex tech into clear business value.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presentations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior AI security SME for customers, prospects, partners, and internal teams.
• Articulate Cyera's AI security vision and differentiated technical approach in customer engagements.
• Lead AI-focused technical workstreams across the field.
• Engage with customer stakeholders to understand AI initiatives and requirements.
• Design and deliver AI security demos, POVs, and value-focused narratives.
• Develop reusable patterns, reference architectures, and playbooks for AI security use cases.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering based on field insights.
• Partner with PMM on AI security messaging and content.
• Represent Cyera at events as a technical voice on AI security.
