Job summary

Witness AI in Japan is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to bridge technology and customer needs, delivering pre-sales advisory, solution architecture, and hands-on demonstrations. You will work with enterprise clients to tailor AI governance solutions, showcase platform capabilities, and guide integration with existing security tools.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product and engineering, strong communication, and staying current on cybersecurity and AI governance trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IS or related field is required.
• 5–7 years in a technical pre-sales, solutions architect, or sales engineering role in enterprise software or cybersecurity.
• Strong familiarity with SASE, firewalls, Windows/Mac OS environments, APIs, and SIEM tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and craft tailored AI governance solutions.
• Conduct product showcases, proofs-of-concept, and presentations illustrating the platform's functionalities.
• Translate technical capabilities into clear customer-focused benefits and outcomes.
• Engage directly with clients to articulate technical value propositions and address inquiries and objections.
• Architect integration strategies between our AI governance software and existing customer technologies (SASE, firewalls, OS, APIs, SIEM).
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to relay feedback and influence the roadmap.
• Stay informed on cybersecurity, AI governance, data governance, and regulatory developments.
• Participate in industry events to boost brand presence and thought leadership.
