Job summary

WGA Advisors is seeking a Principal AI Agent Architect to lead senior architectural and advisory work across the AI Workforce Solutions portfolio. This remote role involves guiding enterprise agentic AI strategy, conducting C-suite diagnostic engagements, and translating workflows into prioritized AI Agent opportunities.

The position requires fluency with agentic AI platforms, operating-model design, and the ability to deliver executive-ready recommendations benchmarked to top strategy firms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience spanning management consulting, enterprise AI, technology architecture, or business transformation
• Minimum 3 years of focused experience in agentic AI, large language model applications, AI Worker deployment, or comparable next-generation AI implementation work
• Demonstrated track record of leading C-suite engagements at Fortune 500, Global 2000, or large enterprise scale
• Experience producing executive deliverables benchmarked against BCG, McKinsey, Bain, Deloitte, Accenture, IBM Consulting, or comparable strategy consulting standards (strongly preferred)
• Master’s degree required in a relevant discipline, including but not limited to Business Administration (MBA), Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or a closely related technical or strategic field
• Equivalent advanced credentials (PhD, MS in quantitative discipline, or comparable) considered

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design thinking for enterprise AI Worker and AI Agent deployments across multiple concurrent client engagements
• Define agentic AI platform strategy recommendations, including comparative evaluations across the Enterprise tier and Emerging tier
• Develop platform deployment architectures including centralized vs. federated models, multi-tenant governance frameworks, and integration pathways into existing enterprise technology stacks
• Provide buy-vs-build guidance for use cases where commercially available AI Agents or AI Tools may displace custom development
• Conduct senior executive interviews with C-suite, business unit leadership, and subject matter experts to identify the highest-value AI Worker opportunities
• Translate complex, fragmented business workflows into structured AI Agent opportunity architectures supported by clear business cases
• Define orchestration patterns, human-in-the-loop models, exception handling frameworks, and platform fit-for-purpose decisions
• Serve as the senior client-facing voice on agent design, platform selection, and enterprise AI Workforce strategy
• Shape diagnostic findings iteratively with client leadership, ensuring recommendations reflect operating realities, business constraints, and stakeholder priorities
• Own the development of diagnostic executive roadmaps, prioritized lighthouse use case portfolios, and AI Workforce Readiness Assessments
• Develop initial business cases and investment views including value sizing, sequencing logic, and dependency mapping
• Produce C-suite deliverables benchmarked to the visual, narrative, and analytical standards of top-tier strategy consulting firms
• Frame diagnostic outputs across the Diagnose-Design-Develop-Deploy lifecycle to position clients for sustained value realization
• Mentor Lead AI Agent Architects and direct day-to-day analytical work product
• Contribute to WGA’s proprietary diagnostic methodology, frameworks, and intellectual capital
• Help shape WGA’s evolving point of view on agentic AI, platform strategy, and the future of work
