Job summary

Coderio is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the AI Engineering Core, operating at the intersection of backend, cloud platforms, and applied AI. You will design, build, and deploy reusable AI capabilities, LLM gateways, and guardrails across the organization to enable safe, observable AI at scale.

You will deliver end-to-end solutions from problem framing through deployment and monitoring, collaborating with global teams while maintaining high autonomy and influence on internal developer

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience delivering production-grade software/AI systems.
• Proficiency in Python, RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud (AWS/GCP).
• Experience with GenAI, RAG pipelines, agent orchestration (LangGraph, CrewAI), and MCP.
• Hands-on with LLM proxies/gateways, model routing, evaluation harnesses, and observability tools (LangSmith, Datadog, Logfire).
• Strong architectural decisions balancing latency, security, scalability, and cost.
• Advanced English proficiency and clear cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate reusable AI capabilities and services adopted by multiple teams.
• Develop LLM gateways, proxies, model routing mechanisms, and agentic workflows.
• Create evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and observability pipelines for AI workloads.
• Define production AI standards including testing, versioning, and incident response.
• Own end-to-end delivery from problem framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Identify high-impact internal tooling opportunities to boost developer velocity.
