Job summary

Coderio is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the AI Engineering Core. You will design, build, and operate reusable AI capabilities, LLM gateways, and model routing across the organization. This hands-on role sits at the intersection of backend, cloud, and applied AI.

Responsibilities include designing evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and observability pipelines, plus delivering end-to-end AI solutions for internal platforms. Strong Python, cloud, and GenAI experience required.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience delivering and operating production-grade systems in Software/AI/ML Engineering.
• Strong Python and REST API development skills.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agent orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with LLM proxies/gateways, model routing, evaluation harnesses.
• Ability to design, benchmark, and deploy AI capabilities in production.
• Excellent English communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate reusable AI capabilities and services.
• Build and evolve LLM gateways, proxies, and routing mechanisms.
• Create evaluation frameworks and observability pipelines for AI tasks.
• Set standards for production AI adoption, testing, and incident response.
• Own end-to-end delivery from problem framing to deployment and iteration.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve developer velocity.
