Job summary

G2i Inc. is seeking a highly experienced software engineer evaluator to assess AI-generated coding interactions. You will judge whether responses reflect strong engineering judgment, usefulness, and correctness without writing production code, and provide detailed feedback.

Role is contract, remote worldwide, with flexible hours (10-20 hrs/week) and an hourly rate of $100-$200 depending on experience and location. Start as soon as you clear a take-home and have an open seat.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff or Principal level engineer or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Ability to evaluate code without executing it or reviewing every line.
• Strong written and spoken English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end.
• Judge usefulness, high-level correctness, and engineering judgment of outputs.
• Provide clear, opinionated feedback in writing and via Loom video.
• Help define what great looks like when using Cursor, Codex and Claude Code.
