G2i Inc. is seeking a senior-level engineer to evaluate AI coding agents in real-world scenarios. You will assess interactions, reasoning, and usefulness without writing production code. The role emphasizes engineering taste and clear, written feedback from experienced developers.

Join as a remote contractor, 10–20 hours per week, with hourly pay. Start after take-home tasks and open seat availability; projects run in short cycles with ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Senior, Staff or Principal level engineer (or equivalent experience).
• Strong background in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of OpenAI Codex, Claude Code or Cursor.
• Strong written and spoken English (B2 or above).
• Able to evaluate code without executing it or reviewing every line.
• Comfortable giving direct, opinionated feedback.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated coding interactions end to end.
• Judge usefulness, correctness at a high level, and engineering judgment.
• Assess explanations and reasoning, not just code.
• Provide clear, opinionated feedback on what worked and what didn’t.
