Qualifications

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 5 years of post-bachelor experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on commercial insurance, or
• Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area with 3 years experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance
• 3+ years commercial insurance experience
• ACAS (Associate in Casualty Actuarial Society)
• Strong decision-making, leadership and motivational skills
• Ability to coach, mentor, and train professional staff

Responsibilities

• Develop and mentor actuarial Analysts and Consultants across pricing and analytical projects
• Oversee actuarial analyses and support business decisions with timely, high-quality outputs
• Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients
• Review work and ensure completion within deadlines
• Balance business results with available human capital
