Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Manager for Employee Benefits. The role supports clients remotely and in California, Nevada, and Arizona, with onsite needs in Los Angeles as required.

Lead a team, manage renewals, and drive client satisfaction while identifying growth opportunities. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the industry, active licensing, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in employee benefits or related fields.
• Active health and/or license to operate in benefits advising.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large volumes of work.

Responsibilities

• Client Management: Manage book of business and meet performance requirements.
• Client Service: Deliver outstanding service and respond quickly to needs.
• Team Leadership: Lead the account team with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Direct daily activities of Account Coordinators and monitor execution.
• Identify and act on sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Manage new business setup, data gathering, and client file creation.
• Oversee renewal processes, verify data, and coordinate with clients and carriers.
• Build and maintain client relationships and seek improvements.
• Advocate for clients and carriers to achieve beneficial outcomes.
• Identify value-added solutions and report on plan performance data.
