Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Manager – Employee Benefits to lead client service, renewals and team activities in a remote/hybrid setup across CA/NV/AZ residents with on-site opportunities as needed. You will manage a book of business, drive client satisfaction, and identify sales opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in employee benefits, active licenses, stellar communication, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Active licensing is required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, delegation and decision‑making skills.
• High accuracy in handling large work volumes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage book of business and ensure performance requirements are met.
• Deliver outstanding client service and anticipate needs.
• Lead the account team and direct daily activities of Coordinators.
• Identify sales opportunities to grow IOA business.
• Manage new business setup, including data gathering and client file creation.
• Oversee renewals: verify data, liaise with clients and carriers, conduct meetings.
• Build and maintain client relationships; solicit feedback and improve.
• Advocate for clients and carriers to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Identify value-added solutions and report plan performance data.
• Maintain positive carrier relationships and ensure compliance.
