Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and assigned accounts. You will work under supervision to ensure accurate renewals, proper coverages, and timely file maintenance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in insurance, strong communication, and MS Office skills, with active licensing preferred (CISR).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, CISR preferred.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related documents.
• Support new and renewal business: client research, underwriting info, submissions, proposals, binding.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
