Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and client service support to the account team, under supervision of an Account Manager or Producer. This role focuses on policy management, renewals, endorsements, and accurate data entry within agency systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of insurance industry experience, active licensing (CISR preferred), strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; professional designation (CISR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, and related documents.
• Prepare submissions, evaluate coverages and pricing, and assist in binding coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and quickly respond to requests.
