Job summary

Great Lakes Crop Care is seeking a Seed Sales Account Manager to drive growth across a remote territory in Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan. You will prospect growers, deliver agronomic advice, and manage accounts with a focus on seed wallet-share expansion.

Responsibilities include on-farm visits, hybrid recommendations, and proposals with pricing within guidelines. Travel will be extensive; a driver’s license is required and previous ag sales success is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field; 3+ years in agricultural sales or agronomic consulting.
• Strong knowledge of corn and soybean production systems and crop protection products.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel extensively within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop grower customers within the assigned territory.
• Be the primary contact for customers, delivering high-quality agronomic and sales support.
• Build and manage a portfolio of corn and soybean grower accounts with focus on retention and revenue growth.
• Conduct agronomic consultations from hybrid selection to seed placement, aligning products to timing and needs.
• Prepare and present customized product proposals; negotiate pricing within guidelines.
