Job summary

Bogaard Group International is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technical Lead to be embedded on our client’s Security Technology team. This fully remote, full-time role drives design, deployment, and health of enterprise security systems across PACS, VMS, and related platforms.

You will oversee projects end-to-end, from requirements to implementation, and collaborate with security, IT, engineering, and vendor teams to improve reliability, scalability, and security program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise physical security systems and technologies.
• Hands-on experience with PACS, VMS, badging, and related technologies.
• Experience with system migrations, integrations, upgrades, commissioning, and lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of security system architecture, networking, databases, servers, and cloud/hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, technical execution, and delivery of enterprise physical security technology projects.
• Own projects from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, commissioning, and handoff.
• Develop plans, schedules, milestones, and technical requirements while managing dependencies and risks.
• Identify remediation strategies to improve system health, reliability, and performance.
• Provide leadership for migrations, upgrades, integrations across on-premises, hybrid, and SaaS environments.
• Review designs and configurations to ensure security, operational, and enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with security, IT, engineering, vendors, and stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.
