Job summary

Bogaard Group International is seeking a Security Systems Solution Engineer to be embedded on our client’s Security Technology team. This full-time, fully remote role requires about 15% travel and focuses on optimizing and expanding the security technology stack, integrating platforms, and transforming data for BI insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of programming and administering enterprise-wide physical security systems.
• 3+ years of experience integrating security systems across multiple platforms and technologies, including API-based integrations and data exchange workflows.
• Genetec Synergis SC-STC-001 and/or SC-ETC-001 certification.
• Proven experience supporting or leading enterprise-wide security applications, including access control, video management systems (VMS), visitor management, and related platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based camera analytics and emerging AI-driven security technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent technical projects with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality results on time and within scope.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and diplomatically across technical and non-technical teams.
• Technical degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, and/or relevant industry certifications.
• Studio production, entertainment, or technology industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead research, evaluation, selection, and implementation of emerging security technologies to maximize ROI.
• Serve as a technical subject-matter expert in access control, video security systems/analytics, and related technologies.
• Architect, configure, and maintain integrations between security platforms and enterprise systems.
• Design and manage ETL workflows to transform security data into actionable BI insights.
• Program, configure, and support existing systems for optimal uptime and performance.
• Identify, design, and deploy automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Lead evaluation and execution of system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for enterprise-wide security applications in a cloud-based environment.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and training materials.
• Collaborate with Security Operations, IT, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Manage multiple concurrent technical initiatives and ensure on-time delivery.
