Job summary

CDW is seeking a Principal Solutions Executive I- Security for a remote US-based role. This senior security sales leader will drive security services and products across strategic accounts, leading full lifecycle engagement from planning to closure.

You will collaborate with services teams, OEM vendors, and partners to expand CDW Security’s market presence and revenue. The role emphasizes strategic account growth, relationship building, and cross-functional coordination with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related technical degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience identifying opportunities and full lifecycle management for security services/products.
• Experience with enterprise sales, strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and to develop/maintain partner relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to expand CDW Security’s customer base and achieve bookings and revenue targets.
• Build comprehensive understanding of capabilities, services, value proposition, market positioning, and differentiators.
• Cultivate relationships with key personnel in current and targeted accounts.
• Identify, engage, qualify, develop, and earn new clients.
• Manage and grow relationships as part of the extended sales team as a consultative seller.
• Provide accurate sales pipeline updates and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Onboard and mentor entry-level Security Solutions Executives.
