GetixHealth is seeking an experienced Security Engineer II, SecOps to join our Information Technology team. This mid-level role focuses on implementing and improving security across cloud, endpoints, networks, identity, and applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional cybersecurity, security engineering, or security operations experience.
• Hands-on with SIEM and security monitoring platforms, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, IAM, cloud security (Azure/AWS), and network security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain security controls across cloud, endpoint, network, identity, and application environments.
• Manage security technologies including SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, email security, DLP, and cloud security platforms.
• Monitor and investigate security alerts, suspicious activity, potential threats, and incidents; develop detections and automated responses.
