Job summary

GetixHealth is seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day cybersecurity operations program in a healthcare revenue cycle environment. This role oversees security monitoring, incident detection and response, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and endpoint operations while protecting PHI/PII and client data.

Remote role, full-time, up to 10% travel. The compensation range is $130,000–$153,000 annually, and you will partner with IT, Compliance, Privacy,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in cybersecurity or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive cybersecurity or information security experience.
• 3+ years leading security operations, incident response, or a related function.
• Experience managing incidents across multiple technical/business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead security operations: monitoring, detection, investigation, escalation, containment, remediation.
• Oversee SIEM, EDR/XDR, email security, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and related tools.
• Develop and maintain security alerts, detection rules, dashboards, use cases, and escalation procedures.
• Lead incident response activities: investigation, containment, recovery, post-incident review.
• Maintain and test incident response plans and playbooks.
• Lead the vulnerability management lifecycle across servers, endpoints, apps, cloud, and network.
• Establish risk-based vulnerability prioritization and remediation standards.
• Monitor emerging threats and coordinate proactive threat-hunting.
