Job summary

GetixHealth is seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day Cybersecurity Operations Program in a healthcare revenue cycle environment. This remote role oversees security monitoring, incident detection/response, vulnerability management, threat intel, and endpoint operations while protecting ePHI, PII, and client data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.
• 8+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience.
• 3+ years leading security operations, incident response, or a similar function.
• Experience managing cybersecurity incidents across multiple technical and business teams.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, vulnerability management, identity/access security, network security, email security, AI security, threat intelligence, and security logging/detection.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Security Operations function: monitoring, detection, investigation, escalation, containment, remediation.
• Oversee SIEM, EDR/XDR, email security, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and related tools.
• Develop and maintain security alerts, detection rules, dashboards, use cases, and escalation procedures.
• Lead incident response activities: investigation, containment, recovery, and post-incident review.
• Maintain and test incident response plans and playbooks.
• Lead vulnerability management lifecycle across servers, endpoints, apps, cloud, and network.
• Establish risk-based vulnerability prioritization and remediation standards.
• Monitor emerging threats and coordinate proactive threat-hunting.
• Support HIPAA/HITRUST/SOC 2/PCI DSS compliance and client security requirements.
