Job summary

GetixHealth is seeking an experienced Security Engineer II, SecOps to design, implement, and improve security controls across cloud, endpoints, networks, and applications. The role partners with Infrastructure, DevOps, IT, Compliance, and GRC to manage risks and respond to security events.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of cybersecurity experience, familiarity with HIPAA/HITRUST, and experience with Azure/AWS cloud security. This is a remote, full-time position with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional cybersecurity experience or security operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud, endpoint, network, identity, and applications.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents; develop detections and automated responses.
• Support compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, PCI-DSS and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Software Engineering to integrate security into CI/CD processes.
• Assist GRC with audits and provide technical evidence.
