Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC seeks an experienced Project Designer to deliver design engineering for electronic security systems, including access control and video surveillance. The role supports projects across verticals, ensuring compliance with codes and Convergint standards.

The candidate will produce engineered drawings, as-builts, and O&M manuals, using AutoCAD and Bluebeam, with strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

• Experience with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Provide design or drawing assistance for projects during the development and as‑built stages of the engineered drawings. Works on projects with varying levels of complexity including the moderately complex design projects.
• Create engineered drawings (AutoCAD, etc.) and prepare record drawings and O&M manuals according to project requirements.
• Utilizes project design standards and ensures adherence to industry codes and AHJ requirements.
• Participates in internal design review meetings and project turnover meetings; provides documentation and graphics as required.
• Supports procurement and subcontractor coordination; assists with permits and change orders.
