Job summary

United Global Technologies is seeking a fully remote Senior Security Engineer to manage after-hours maintenance, incident escalation, and handoffs across a large enterprise environment.

You will work with IAM, DSPM, ASM, vulnerability management, SIEM, and SOAR tools, and develop security automations in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and REST APIs. Remote nationwide candidates in ETZ hours encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or information security with 8+ years of experience.
• 5+ years supporting large IT environments, security systems, or deployments.
• Hands-on security engineering across security tech, integrations, and ops.
• Experience developing security automations and tools in Python.
• Strong troubleshooting across apps, OS, networks, IAM and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• After-hours maintenance, incident escalation, and operational handoffs.
• Support IAM, DSPM, ASM, vulnerability mgmt, SIEM, and SOAR environments.
• Develop automation and integrations using Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST, JSON, YAML.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, networks, and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multi-tenant security environment.
• Document playbooks and procedures for security operations.
