Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Security Engineer – Cybersecurity Automation to design and implement Python-based automations and Linux-based security tooling. You will work in a remote capacity with on-call duties for a 24x7 Security Operations Center, supporting IAM, threat management, and security platform integrations.

The role requires strong Python skills, Linux system administration, and hands-on experience building security automation across multiple platforms, APIs, and vendor SDKs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience.
• 8 years in IT/security environments.
• Experience developing security automations using Python.
• On-call rotation readiness for a 24x7 Security Operations Center.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, deploy, administer, and support enterprise security automations and custom tools.
• Develop Python-based automations, internal web apps, APIs, SDKs, scripts, dashboards, and system integrations.
• Build automated workflows for alert enrichment, triage, incident response, and reporting.
• Support IAM, DSPM, ASM, Vulnerability Management, Email Security, Endpoint Security, SIEM, XDR, SOAR, Logging and Network/SOC security.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain automation workflows using Python, PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, JSON, YAML, and vendor SDKs.
• Collaborate with security architects, SOC analysts, and stakeholders for integrations and troubleshooting.
