Job summary

Advanced IT Concepts seeks a Security Systems Administrator to protect enterprise systems across on‑prem and cloud, including AWS/Azure/GCP environments. You will manage security tools, monitor threats, and support incident response while aligning with security baselines and compliance requirements.

The role reports to the CISO and is remote with potential for after‑hours maintenance and on‑call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience securing and maintaining enterprise IT systems and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of security baselines, patching, and hardening.
• Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and logging.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain security systems and network infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud.
• Configure and manage security tools including firewalls, EDR, logging, IAM, and vulnerability scanners.
• Monitor alerts, logs, and dashboards to identify threats and misconfigurations.
• Assist with incident response, triage, containment, and remediation documentation.
• Maintain security baselines, patching, hardening standards, and change records.
• Support cloud security operations including IAM, logging, encryption, and secure deployments.
• Collaborate with admins and engineers to improve overall security posture and audit readiness.
