Job summary

Pixel Health is seeking a Security Analyst to oversee daily security monitoring, identity governance support, and compliance activities. The role serves as the first point of contact for routine security matters, with responsibility for incident response, policy maintenance, and client-ready documentation.

The position is remote within the United States, requiring collaboration with IT teams, risk & compliance stakeholders, and clinical departments to strengthen security posture while adhering

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in information security, security operations, or IT support with security responsibilities.
• Experience investigating security events across endpoint, email, or identity sources.
• Working knowledge of identity and access management concepts including MFA, conditional access, and least privilege.
• Familiarity with HIPAA Security Rule and frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI DSS).
• Ability to write clear policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including client-facing summaries.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and investigate security events across endpoints, email, and managed detection sources.
• Coordinate vulnerability management activities, including prioritization, remediation tracking, and status reporting.
• Document incidents and prepare summaries for management review.
• Draft and revise policies, procedures, and supporting standards for management review and approval.
