Job summary

TalentLNX LLC is seeking a Healthcare IT Security Analyst for a fully remote role within the United States. You will protect patient data and clinical systems, monitor SIEM events, and lead vulnerability assessments in cloud and on-prem environments.

You will work with IT, clinical informatics, and compliance teams, ensuring HIPAA/HITECH and NIST controls are applied across systems. A strong healthcare regulatory background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is required.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP/CISM/HCISPP are highly preferred.
• Minimum 3 years IT security experience in healthcare or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events across healthcare networks, endpoints, and cloud environments using SIEM tools.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on clinical and administrative systems.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate remediation.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA Security Rule, HITECH, and NIST requirements.
• Manage identity and access controls, including MFA and privileged accounts.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
• Perform risk assessments for new systems and third-party integrations.
• Support audit readiness for SOC 2, HITRUST, and regulatory security assessments.
• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to secure patient-facing systems.
