Job summary

Solomon Page is seeking a Sr. Financial Reporting Accountant for a hybrid role in Boca Raton, FL. You will lead SEC reporting, prepare quarterly and annual filings, and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely, accurate disclosures.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 3–4 years in public accounting, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP. CPA preferred and Big 4 experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA license preferred.
• 3–4 years of experience in public accounting with solid U.S. GAAP.
• Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
• Background in financial reporting or SEC reporting is a plus.
• Experience with ERP/GL platforms and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual SEC reports (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) and other regulatory filings.
• Develop and maintain financial reporting schedules, account reconciliations, and supporting analyses.
• Monitor changes to accounting standards and assess impact on reporting.
• Assist with reviewing and validating XBRL tagging for SEC filings.
• Participate in monthly and quarterly close activities with accurate reporting.
• Draft technical accounting memos addressing conclusions for reporting periods.
• Analyze financial results and explain period-over-period fluctuations.
• Maintain policies, procedures, and control documentation for internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors to provide requested information and deliverables.
• Participate in ad hoc accounting and process-improvement initiatives.
