Job summary

Solventum is seeking an External Reporting Analyst to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of external financial reporting and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate across the organization to prepare filings, disclosures, and communications.

You will partner with Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Tax, Treasury and others to support earnings releases, analyst materials, and executive communications, while pursuing continuous improvement in reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution, AND five (5) years of experience in Finance or Accounting in a private, public, government or military environment.
• CPA or direct SEC external reporting experience is a plus.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation, review, and coordination of quarterly Form 10-Q, annual Form 10-K, and other SEC filings.
• Prepare disclosures and supporting documentation for external financial reports and maintain internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors on filings and related financial information.
• Manage reporting systems and tools to enable accurate, compliant external reporting.
• Partner with Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and other teams for earnings releases and presentations.
• Drive process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.
• Support complex accounting activities including goodwill impairment assessments and technical analyses.
